Las Vegas IT Compliance Services

HIPAA, PCI DSS, CMMC, SOC 2, and NIST compliance support for Las Vegas businesses, included with managed IT. Assessments, policies, and audit evidence.

Compliance Without the Binder of Paperwork

Regulated Las Vegas businesses, from medical offices to defense contractors to retailers taking card payments, are expected to prove their IT is secure, not just claim it. We build the technical controls and the documentation together so the evidence exists before the auditor, insurer, or customer asks.

Who Needs What

  • HIPAA — healthcare and dental practices and their business associates
  • PCI DSS — any business that accepts or processes payment cards
  • CMMC — Department of Defense contractors and subcontractors (see our CMMC compliance page)
  • SOC 2 readiness — vendors who sell to larger organizations that require proof of security controls
  • NIST frameworks — a practical baseline for any business, and the foundation for CMMC
  • Cyber insurance readiness — meeting the controls insurers require for coverage and renewal

Our Process

  1. Gap assessment — compare your current environment to the framework that applies to you
  2. Remediation plan — a prioritized list of fixes with owners and timelines
  3. Policies and documentation — written policies, procedures, and risk assessments
  4. Ongoing evidence — continuous collection of logs, reports, and records so you stay audit-ready

What Is Included

Compliance support is included with our managed IT program for managed clients. It is not sold as a standalone service. We support your path to compliance and audit readiness but cannot guarantee a certification or audit result.

Call (702) 333-2001 or use the contact form to get started. Our team is available Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

★The 702MSP Difference

  • Technical and paperwork together — the same team that runs your IT builds the controls and the evidence
  • Small business scale — right-sized controls, not enterprise overhead
  • Local team — Las Vegas based and familiar with local industries
  • Built into managed IT — compliance is part of the program, not a separate engagement

Frequently Asked Questions

Is HIPAA compliance only for hospitals?▼
No. HIPAA applies to covered entities such as medical and dental practices, and to business associates that handle protected health information for them, including IT providers and billing companies.
Do small businesses need PCI compliance?▼
If you accept, process, or store payment card data, PCI DSS applies regardless of size. The scope and effort depend on how you take payments.
Which CMMC level do I need for my contract?▼
It depends on the type of information your contracts involve, such as Federal Contract Information or Controlled Unclassified Information. See our CMMC page for details, then we can review your contracts with you.
Will this get me through an audit?▼
We prepare the assessments, policies, and evidence your auditors and insurers ask for and close technical gaps. We cannot guarantee a certification or audit outcome, which is decided by the auditor or assessor.
What do cyber insurers ask for?▼
Common requirements include multi-factor authentication, endpoint detection and response, tested backups, patching, security awareness training, and an incident response plan. These are all part of our managed program.
